3 Advantages of writing articles in lists (Listicles)
marketing | 09 Feb. 2024

Did you know that lists are one of the most effective ways of creating content for your blog?

Whatever your niche, lists can help you attract, inform and persuade your readers. In this article, we'll give you three tips on how to create lists that are relevant, interesting and useful to your target audience.

3 Tips for writing listicles/lists

1. Search for keywords

Some tools that can help you with your keyword research are:

  • Growthbar.
  • Google Keyword Planner.
  • Exploding Topics and Google Trends (if you want to find emerging topics).

2. Create an introduction that captivates your readers! Be concise, colloquial and use short sentences and simple words

You can too:

  • Probably whoever is reading a list is trying to solve a problem, so take advantage of this to restate the problem they are probably facing, then the importance of this and finally solve the problem.
  • Establish credibility. What is your backing on the subject? People are more likely to continue reading if they know that the information is reported by an expert.
  • This step is a bit tricky, but try to leave readers wanting more information.

3. Format your list properly so that it works

  • Catchy title.
  • Introduction.
  • List the items and don't forget to use a numbered or bulleted list, and take advantage of h2 and h3.
  • Emphasise the most important points, you can use bold, italics, underlining...
  • For very long articles, we recommend creating a table of contents, so that the content is easier to read.
  • Use images to break up the text and draw the reader's attention.
  • End with a conclusion that answers further questions.

What do logos communicate?

Many clients seeking their own identity believe that the logo should represent what their company does. And it's easy to understand this line of thought – if the logo contains visual clues, it will be easier to interpret what the brand sells.

In the past, the first logos emerged with the simple goal of identifying who made the products.

But companies have grown and are now much more complex than just the products they sell.
